Long, long ago (if you can remember a time before we even had cell phones), Terry O’Rourke made a conscious decision to leave the world of corporate buy-outs and start doing something he was passionate about — helping small businesses become more efficient and profitable using technology.
With a background in accounting as a CPA, Terry had the opportunity to work with many small businesses and saw the direct impact using the right systems — coupled with the right processes and the right people — would have on improving the bottom line. But what he also saw was a vast shortage of technology firms focusing on smaller companies and the unique issues they face. Instead, at that time, all the tech firms were focused on bigger corporate clients. And thus… Common Sense Solutions was born.
As with most entrepreneurs, the company started small with Terry helping his clients implement accounting software. But a funny thing happened along the way.
Our clients wanted more!
They started asking, “Could you help put in a new server along with the new software?” They were opening a second office and wanted IT support with that.“Oh, and could you help maintain that equipment and support our users?”
What started out as a software implementation strategy turned into a full-blown one-stop shop for our client’s technology needs.
